Phase 1 - Session 3 - It's all about balance so make it three squares a day
Participants will discuss the following points:
- "Eat three square meals a day." Learn how to take this concept use it as
a basis for balanced meal planning
- Add proteins, fats and oils to meals for sustained satisfaction
- Choosing protein wisely to maintain a lean/low-fat product
- Use caution on fat-free products that are high in added sugars
- Select foods with no more than 2 grams of combined "bad fats" (saturated
fats + trans fats)
- Combine all components to create a "square meal"
