Healthy Living
Wetzel County Hospital in conjunction with Mountain State Blue Cross Blue
Shield is offering the
EAT WELL FOR LIFE program (click here for more
details.) We are committed to a healthier Wetzel County and surrounding areas.

EAT WELL FOR LIFE is like a "spring cleaning" of your eating and lifestyle
habits.  You will learn to do a close inspection of the choices you make, get rid
of what's not working, champion what is working, and discover new skills and
strategies that fit your goals and desires.  The program is designed to help you
take charge of your health (and your weight) by:

  • Helping raise awareness of your current eating habits and their impact on
your health and wellbeing..  for today and tomorrow.
  • Providing a practical roadmap for making healthy lifestyle choices - a
guide that makes sense in today's demanding lifestyle...  for today and
    tomorrow.
  • Encouraging you to develop a healthy relationship with food, respect for
your body, responsibility for behaviors and accountability for your
    actions...  for today and tomorrow.
